Tonight's Braves Phillies game is on peachtree tv which I'm sure a lot of people get.

Halladay vs Heyward should be very exciting.

Hudson had his number tonight.

Fortunately Doc had the braves number.

Ya think he liked getting out of the AL East?

4-0 with a 0.82 ERA now.  The NL isn't going to have any answer for him.

Its funny that I barely bat an eyelash at a complete game shutout from Doc. Its just so commonplace.

I hope Halladay stays near to these numbers and is unhittable this year.  Maybe then people will realize that he has been the best pitcher the last few years, it was just the AL East slightly inflating his numbers.

guys, that SI issue w/ doc on the cover is totally worth the 6.99 or whatever, granted there's lots we already knew about, but a great read regardless

I agree, all those years he had to sit and suffer the likes of Grienke, Lee and Sabathia matching him for CY Young wins, now he has a great offense to back him up and hopefully 1 or 2 more Cy Youngs to follow.

suprisingly roughed up tonight, i honestly thought against NL West opposition he'd have an overall ERA of under 0.5

So far Halladay looks good. The Mets are my NL team, so I'm rooting against him, but I'm hoping he pitches well. Pelfrey's been great lately, so it could be a good pitchers duel.

Halladay was really impressive today.  His located seemed a bit off in the first couple of innings and the pitch count was high, but he got it together went the distance, and even got to bat in the bottom of the 7th with a 10 run lead.  I don't think he's going to pinch hit for much if at all this year.

I can only imagine what halladay is feeling right now.  a million fans in attendance at Citizens Bank Park...all going crazy right now as they beat up on Santana...including a grand salami

Halladay really battled today.  Sometimes it's as interesting to watch him pitch without his best stuff as it is to see him dominate.  7 innings 117 pitches 9ks and 3 walks (he had 4 all year before today).  He got squeezed pretty bad and the phillies also played poor defense but still ended up with a great start.

It really shows just how good a pitcher he is.  When he doesn't have his good stuff he still manages to do so many positive things on the mound.  Sure, he'll get roughed up from time to time, but man are those starts ever rare.
