And a big blunder on day 1

Chris Carpenter throws a CG 1-hit SHO with 10 punchouts, all from AWESOME's bench.

AWESOME's team avatar is perfect for encapsulating their fan reactions.

And a big blunder for me. I don't know how you people with extra hitters manage not to lose your sanity.

I put Burrell on the bench, insert Gomes in the lineup and Burrell hits a HR. I put Gomes on the bench, Burrell in the lineup and Gomes hits a HR. I've wasted 4 HR this week. Thankfully, it hasn't cost me yet but it is extremely annoying.

Yes i learnt that allot of pitchers = wins and strikeouts while allot of good hitters doesn't guarantee anything

These quarters are ultra-competitive, as was the season. I can't figure out who I'd rather face in the semis. Let's just get this thing going, the waiting on the sideline is killing me.

Good observation. Not since 2004 have both quarters ended in a score that was even within three, and they both ended up 6-4 that year. Since then there's been at least one if not two blowouts. This year we might see two 6-5 final scores.

The Hounds have really come together and played as a team these past couple of days to give us a chance against the TAW. Damn though, that team has a lot of pesky players that you just hate playing against - especially Ellsbury. I'll be biting my nails tomorrow.

Ellsbury has a double header today so i'm hoping for some runs from him to make it a 6-5 lead to myself come close of play.

I can't believe I've only had 2 saves all week from 4 closers.

Well, congrats to TAW

Looks like the less injury-riddled team has won

Stupid team.  Playing in the consolation playoffs a team that didn't accumulate any saves and didn't accumulate any steals had 5 saves and 10 steals this week.

I forgot to start Greinke today. That could possibly make the difference for the whole week.  :(
