2010 OKBJ Yahoo Fantasy League
« on: March 28, 2010, 11:53:21 PM »
Now that the teams are in place and drafted, though I would start a separate thread for discussion of the season. Good luck to everyone, I'm hoping to see a few people I drafted break out, always the most fun for me, that and playing the waiver wire. Finally got my Ryan Howard back who I snagged off waivers when he came up to replace Thome many years ago, good waiver pick up, made me wish I was in a keeper league because it took a while to get him back! lol

The draft was pretty quick this year...2hrs and something? not to bad.

1st round i was originally split between Prince and AROD, but went with AROD..he's injury free now and has that post season jinx off his back.

I took Tommy Hanson and Carlos Gonzalez pretty high up also, i'm hoping them risks will pay off.

absolute joke, this trade better not be approved.

I cast my vote for the Saskatchewan Selects to be banned, Beltran is not going to play for two weeks and relievers arent that valuable in this league. And Rios is expected to be at least average.

I thought about rejecting it but come on what would you do?

I won't complain if it is not approved.

What? You want the guy who finished 1st the past 2 years in this league kicked out? Scared are you? Well don't get too worked up man, you dont play the Saskatchewan Selects untill week 14.. That gives you plenty of time to revamp your lineup and take a crack at me.

As for Relievers not being valuable... They are no less valuable then starting pitching being there is a saves and holds category.

why would you make this trade? why would you want to give up Pujols and not receive a marquee player in return? Pujols is the most guaranteed thing in Fantasy Baseball

this trade is ridiculous

I don't understand vetoing trades. If somebody is stupid enough to make a trade like that, what's it to me? Everybody is at least somewhat rational and should have the ability to make their own decisions.

I totally agree. It's good to ensure that you don't see two GMs agree to make a horrible trade, but if you don't suspect some form of collusion, you should just let it go.

Um, we are all competing against each other. If someone wins the league by making unfair trades, where is the fun
