If you visit the main yahoo sports page and click on MLB, it always gives a listing right below the main stories of which players are hot in fantasy baseball right now and which are not. Then, have you noticed below that it gives you notes like "Ricky Nolasco is not playing today but is in your roster" with an option to go right to your team and adjust it?
Well the one that annoys me, is the note that tells you "5600838 people have dropped your player, adjust roster?"
What is wrong with the people that play yahoo fantasy baseball? It seems as though a pitcher has one bad start or a player has one bad week and all of a sudden a massive chain of morons cuts the same player in one day. I'm sure other morons feed off the note and think "oh god, I better drop this guy too because everyone else dropped him," thus inflating the drop numbers further.
This week for me it was Jorge De La Rosa. I know he's erratic, but then he is sometimes amazing, like how he struck out 21 over two games and had a 1.00 ERA (or some such low figure). Then he tossed a blowout and 7,000 people drop him immediately. So when he's lights out next time, I assume they will all run and sign him again, if available. No one has patience anymore.
