i picked it up.

this game is incredible.. but it always reminds me why i shouldn't buy it..because there's no way i can play 162 games.

i played online and found it slightly laggy... so hitting and pitching gets completely screwed up.

I don't play online but I know what you mean about the season. I always seem to start one with the thought of playing all of them, but ending up simming parts of it.

I am so done with this game.

The improved the graphics greatly but the gameplay is horrible. I have played with sliders so much but they don't affect anything. I don't want to play a 10-7 with all the runs coming on solo shots.

Man! the other day I had a game against the Orioles and I killed them, I won 13-3 Romero give up 3 solo shots in the 5th and 6th I took him out in the 6th with a 6 run lead but in the entire game I hit one home run- 2 run shot by Lind. I like to play on All-Star mode using the outfield cam....you get some realistic games that way.

I shut teams down, I get realistic games. I personally like to turn off the mter and go with classic, just point and pitch and let his stats dictate where the ball will go over the plate. It can get absolutely frustrating but it is great because Romero will struggle in some games with his control and just walk guys. I am sorry I don't really have that problem.

I'll probably fool with it even more but i'll likely end up playing 09 again.

I gotta say I found new life for this game by just playing the road to the show mode. My pitcher Jimmy Key is in his 6th season and just won the Cy Young, started the All Star game and has pitched 3 straight playoff shutouts.

Do you play everygame or how do you go about it? I started but got like 3 years in and was sick of playing everygame. My guy was hitting 400 with 30 some homeruns and they benched him when I started simming so I just got fed up with it and quit.

There will never be a realistic baseball game.  There apparently isn't enough demand out there for anyone to make ONE good baseball game.

MVP 2005 was probably the best but it still had a ton of flaws.
