Actually it works out great. We have a pretty competitive league each year. You'll always get a few that let their teams go but overall we stay active.

I placed 6th in league 2 last year, but I was in 3rd place until September injuries so please give me the best spot possible. I intend to be very active again.

Also, 20 teams does seem like too much. Cant we just split it up into 2 leagues?

The sig is not meant to gloat but to publicize. We had incredible demand for this league a couple years ago and I think part of that was because myself and T-Dob (remember him?) put our championship credentials in our signatures. Other forum members saw this and they wanted the chance to have the same privilege. End result is that we had two full leagues with a few extra managers left out.

I also think that some people just haven't gotten into baseball mode. Maybe in a couple weeks they'll start surfing the forums again and stumble across this league.

The 20 man league is full but we'll keep taking replacement and if enough build up there can be a second league.

Also, if there isn't already one in place, I would love to be commissioner for one of them.

I like having stars. Last year I had A-Rod, Kinsler, Morneau, Carlos Lee, Haren, Soria, and Santana on the same team. That's WAY more fun than having a bunch of Jason Kubels and Luke Scotts. It's still challenging to work the waiver wire and pick up the next big thing..

20 teams would be ridiculous. Just think of how insane that draft would be. Teams 1-5 and 15-20 would be screwed and there would be no draft strategy at all. The draft is the most important thing since the vast majority of a team's permanent players are selected there. Gotta give everyone a fair chance to form their teams the way they like. Theres a reason most leagues have a max of 12 teams.

Last year we had 16 in league 2 and almost half of them didn't even participate. The more the teams, the more likely a manager will give up early

At this point we have enough interest for one solid league. If the number present themselves for a second league will start one like always and I'll keep in mind your offer to commish it.

Signed up, but can we push the draft time back? I'm in Vancouver and work, so 4pm PST on a thursday doesn't cut it for me.

I'm in London(uk), so for you guys on the east coast....1pm (8pm canada) would be the latest for me anyday of the week to do the draft.
