People will be more likely to sign up if they "see" that spots are still open - As of now they might not fully get the impression that there can be two leagues, and this could lead to missed participants.

I think people are more than capable of figuring it out.

it doesnt mean that its going to be 1-20 all in the first league is it? Maybe we could make it like two smaller leagues, and for next season the top 5 teams in each league get to be in the premier league.

just to stick up for this guy. he's not the most active poster here but i know him in real life and he's been in league 1 with us for a few years. him and i have a personal stake in this for bragging rights.

Rance made the League 1 playoffs last year - that should make him a lock for League 1 this year IMO

we are just in this to win. whether its league 1 or 2 (or whatever they get called) it don't matter to us.

QFT - in smaller leagues it's too easy to have a team loaded with star players.

I personally would love to see the league expand to 30 teams (if that was made possible by Yahoo!). The more the better.

Unfortunately Yahoo only allows us 20 teams a league, hence where having a league 2 came from. I just hope some of the new folks who signed up stay active all year, there are always a few teams who draft and never return once.
