My only grievance is the omission of Jeff Carter - I was really hoping to see him on the LW alongside Getzlaf and Perry. I'm not sure Toews and Bergeron should've made the team instead, but I believe Yzerman knows what he's doing anyway.

Seem to be trying for alot of instant chemistry with Seabrook Keith and the San Jose line.

I can live with this team really the only one that I would have definately left off is Bergeron he's playing better but still hasn't jumped to that next level.  Also thought they might take Mike Green over Doughty

I'm surprised that at least one of Bouwmeester or Phaneuf didn't make it, but I dislike the Flames and think Phaneuf is overrated anyway, so I'm fine with it. Picking Team Canada has to be one of the hardest jobs in the world. So much talent to choose from, and so much second-guessing.
I'd rather have a sister in a whorehouse than a brother who's a Yankees fan.

Defensively Phaneuf is brutal.  I'm not a fan of the Bergeron, Morrow selections.   Other than that, pretty good.

Olympic hockey, otherwise known as the only time I ever watch hockey, ever lol. I root for Sweden every olympics (one of my heritages) and was ecstatic when they won in 2006. I root for Canada second, considering a fair amount of my distant relatives still live there. So it was hard for me to watch that Canada/Sweden final in 1994, but what an incredible game with the overtimes and shootouts.

Well...hopefully he proves me wrong. Interesting day in Leafs land today, no matter what.

If Getzlaf is nowhere near 100% he'd better have the common sense to sit and let some1 else take his place.  Put yer ego aside for the sake of the team!

Team USA looked much faster and played with more heart.  Team Canada looked slow and only when they were down late in the 3rd did they ramp up.  If they seriously want to win they had better smarten up right away.

The have to beat Germany to make it to the quarters...and if they make it to the quarter finals they get to play Russia.

They dug this hole for themselves...now let's see what kind of character they really have.
