Guaranteed win for the Clippers tonight
Just like every other game involving a Toronto Sports team you predict a loss. Why even pretend to be a fan of these teams.

Being a fan just means I'm partial to them winning

Doesn't mean I can't call a spade a spade

Now, your overall season predictions may end up being correct, but why bother with the "guaranteed win" stuff?  Are you superstitious and hope that you jinx the other team by saying it?  If so it worked well.

Very happy to see my Suns doing quite well.  I used to be really big Suns fan back in the Barkley and KJ days, I just don't watch the NBA as much plus the addition of the Raptors has given me a second team.

Close loss tonight to the Suns, but these are the games they are going to need to learn how to win if they want to be anything more a 1 and done team.

Well in typical fashion, the Raptors blew a chance to beat a good team and get a huge win on the road. Nice job setting up that last play Triano, letting Turkoglu fool around with the basketball instead of giving it to Bosh on the last play.

Didn't they acquire Turkoglu just for that purpose? So Bosh wouldn't have to take (and fail) on last shots any more like he's done for the past 4 years?

They could have had a better shot than that. But this game was lost because when Calderon (or Jack) switched and were guarding Amare, they didn't really try to switch with the bigger player who was hedging in the paint. A few times it happened and a few times the big tried to get Calderon to switch again, but to no avail. Another switch would have made big on Nash the only mismatch and wouldn't leave them so prone to getting abused by Amare in the post.
Farnsworth: Start the ship, Leela. Let's just steal the damn radar dish and get back to our own time.
Fry: But- But won't that change history?
Farnsworth: Oh, a lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm-My-Own-Grandpa!

Hedo Turkoglu: worst signing ever?

He looks like he spent the entire offseason on his couch

It made it easier to shoot that commercial.

Turkoglu's always been like this (check out his career averages). Which, yeah, makes the signing pretty bad. He's slowly becoming the Raptors version of Vernon Wells.

If the commercial was half as good as "catch da taste" then the signing might almost be worth it.

Good win tonight.
Gotta say, the most ridiculous rule in sports is the one in the NBA that gives a team the ball on the other side of halfcourt if they call a timeout with under 2 minutes(I think) left. It's a rule completely designed to give teams a chance to score, but it's just so phony.

Raptors win again.  They seem to have finally found some chemistry together and the team looks like it could win a rd or 2 in the playoffs if they continue to build on what they have done so far.  To be 6 games over 500 after their terrible start is awesome.

Do you think they can catch 4th place in the east and gain home court advantage in the playoffs?  I think they can.  It's a bit of a stretch, but doable.
