Hey Guys!
« on: May 28, 2009, 06:49:17 AM »
Whats up ?  I'm a newbie, from Nova Scotia...been a fan well over ten years now.

So, I'm thinking I'm going to be in town for the series againest the Rays at the end of June. I'm looking for some seasoned Skydome veterans advice on where to sit....nothing outrageously expensive(willing to go up to $100-$120 range), a good view, maybe a chance to grab a foul ball, maybe get an autograph if possible... Also, is there such thing as cheap beer at the game ? how much does a beer usually run you ?

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks guys!

Where to sit is really a matter of personal choice. I don't like sitting on the baselines because I don't like the viewing angle, but I know a lot of people prefer it. I try to stay behind home plate or in the outfield. As for foul balls, baselines are definately your best. Autographs are really based on luck, some games players sign them during batting practice, sometimes they don't. Showing up for batting practice is also a decent way to improve your chances of grabbing a ball.

As for cheap beer, it doesn't exist. I cannot remember exact numbers, but they're around $7-8.

The last 3 or 4 times I have went, I sat in the 200L around 3rd base and 1st base.  The view is great, the seats are cushioned and the concourse on the 200L is not very busy at all.  By far my favorite place to sit!

Enjoy!

A little late, but a king can of beer will run you $9.50 for the cheap stuff, $10 for a premium.
