Just caught up on all five seasons of Rescue Me. Really enjoyed the first three seasons. Been disappointed with season 5. You have a character somewhat grow, only to bring him back to where he started. Seems like the struggles in prior seasons were irrelevent.

I have enjoyed the current season more then season 4. Also, having MJF on a guest role has been brilliant to watch. Just Tommy  starting to drink again just doesn't sit well with me. Over the course of the show he has dealt with a multiple people dying around him and what leads him to his worse relapse is seeing a video of his cousin. I actually like the fact he was starting to get his "s**t" together.

Just got my hands on Epitafios - Season 1 and The Shield - Season 2. Epitafios was recommend by a friend, it is a spanish HBO show.

Love season 1 of The Shield and finally have gotten around to picking up season 2.

Season 4 seemed to go, how much crazy stuff can we throw at one guy.  I like the fact that this season has gone back to the source of his problems, ya MJF was awesome in that role.  I hear that this season of Rescue Me will be quite long.  Around 20 episodes, but I could be wrong on that.

I hear good things about the Shield, but it's one we've never gotten into.  I really should check it out.

I really like The Shield. It's normally pretty fun to watch, and they do a great job of building tension and creating a claustrophobic feel as the noose tightens around characters. And the last few episodes of the series are fantastic.

Watched the season premier of weeds last night, it was ok I guess.  A few laughs, but it's never been as funny as the first couple of seasons imo.

I also watched the first couple of episodes of Nurse Jackie, love this show.  Dark, funny and Edie Falco is very good in it.  Recommend it.

It's is nice to know that if I get invested in this show I get to watch another season.

Just finished the first episode. As far as pilots go it was a bit below the norm. However, Edie Falco is brilliant and I'll keep watching for her alone.

Just watched Nurse Jackie. It was alright. I'm not big on hospital drama's, but Edie Falco is in it, so I'll give it a shot.

Great start to season 2 of True Blood tonight. Any show that has me guessing on what is going to happen is fine in my books.

I also see A&E stopped showing reruns of Third Watch, never watched the show when it first came on but have been following it lately. Now it's been replaced with The Cleaner starting Ben Bratt who has all the acting range of a coat rack.

Also watched the season two premiere of True Blood. A solid first episode. This show doesn't blow me away or leave me dying to watch the next episode, but, it's consistently entertaining. Not many shows can say the same.

Finally got around to watching a the classic comedy News Radio. Got through season 1 and half of season 2. It's such a great comedy. Phil Hartman is brilliant in this series, RIP.

I wasn't thrilled with the first episode of True Blood, I found it quite slow.

I'm also losing interest in the second season of breaking bad.

The 2nd season of Breaking Bad is one of televisions finest accomplishments.

Anyone else following this whole Conan/Leno/NBC fiasco?

What a mess by NBC basically looking to ruin one of their few remaining strong points.

While I didn't know there were books about the whole thing (though it doesn't surprise me) I do love the show.  Last night's show was great! Thought the first hour was not as good as the final hour.
