Just bought a DS and been addicted to Pokemon Diamond. I know it is a kid show, but the Red Version was one my all time favorite games for the Game Boy Colour. Diamond pretty much an upgraded version of the red with 2D graphics intertwined with 3D and a touch screen. Enjoyable if you're a fan of the franchise. Picked up Grand Theft Auto - China Town Wars for the DS also, hoping to start tackling it this weekend.

For PC I play WarCraft 3 custom map DOTA once in awhile. I bought Guild Wars, but, the friend I was playing with didn't like it much. Sucks playing an MMO alone

I use my brothers PS3. Right now I am mainly playing UFC Undisputed 2009 and Tiger Woods 08. Looking at getting into a baseball game possibly MLB the Show.

i broke down and got mlb2k10 (xbox's only option aside from the bigs)

there's a neat new mode called 'my player' similiar to EA nhl's be a pro, you skip to your ab's and field you're position only, work your way up to the bigs, currently the fisher-cats left fielder, other games i'm playin are showin up in my sign i believe

right now i play MW2 sometimes, NHL 10 online team play (this is an awesome play if you have friends who want to join in..each person controls one created character), and i'll be getting Red Dead Redemption when it comes out.

I have MLB10 The Show, but i just can't invest the time needed to enjoy it. i'm probably gonna sell it.

on the surface it's like GTA - you ride around on your horse doing missions and stuff.

but it's much much more engaging that GTA4 ever was. the missions are fun and much less repetitive, and the ecology of the environment is mesmorizing.
i've played for probably 10 hours now and am only 20% through the game.

it's really time consuming. we'll understand if the minor league reports don't go up for the next couple of days

I love the randomness of the game. Just riding my horse and I get attacked by a mountain lion.

i was trotting down a path outside Armadillo the other day, when a guy approached me going the opposite way. He stopped at the side of the path, go off his horse, found a large boulder and took a leak.

Then he got back on and went on his merry way.

I love this game, got it last night and played it for like 4 hours, that is insane as usually games give me a headache or tired eyes about 2 hours or so in, but not this one. It's an open sandbox environment done right, unlike some games where the world is open and nothing is happening, I've been riding down the road and randomly seen campers who motion me to sit with them and they start talking about politics etc (when one of them started a rant that sounded like the US modern Tea Party movement, I killed him an all his companions lol). I've saved a guy being attacked by Coyotes, I even witnessed some bandits rob and execute some poor folks, I tried to save them but they killed me lol. My favorite moment was I shot a bird from the top of a moving train, then I fell off by accident and landed next to a criminal hideout. The game popped a message saying I could "rescue a sheriff" and proceeded to get into a huge shootout with that awesome slo-mo deadeye feature, it was just so epic!

This game is just incredible, get it now, you will not be disappointed, it's so epic if makes "busses are teh safe" hehe

Beware the wolves in this game. Those buggers have lured me into a trap several times. If you are following thru with the side challenges one of them is the master hunter challenge. Well in one level you have to kill 5 wolves using your knife. Normally because the wolves are pack animals i'll shoot 2 or 3, then knife the last 1 or 2. But I find they like to run away and lead you to a trap where out of nowhere 4 more wolves will show up to attack you.

Wow a trap? That is awesome, I haven't had wolves kill me yet, but a team of cougars did, I got off my horse and heard that cougar growl and was like "where is that coming from?" I was in low brush so I started to look around then I saw my horse die, I tried to shoot one but another jumped up and killed me lol.

On top of that, I rode by another kind of trap. I was in a rush to get somewhere and I rode by this woman off the road waving her arms and yelling for help. I didn't have time to stop, but when I looked back, behind her wagon were 3 or 4 guys crouched down. I'm pretty sure it was all just a big ambush and they were gonna try and kill me.

How amazing is it that this kind of stuff is just always happening out there in the world? No quest, it's just there sometimes if you are in the right place at the right (or wrong) time. I also just shot the gun out of the hand of a man who was challenging me in a duel and won, god that was awesome!

argh i'm having a tough time with that stupid wolf challenge. i've made it to mexico in the main story.. the terrain is SUCH a pain in the ass to ride around in.

and it seems there's a lot more mexicans wanting to hate on my than usual...i was a good player with high honor, but in mexico they keep trying to steal my money and my horse.... so now i go around robbing people. i've become a product of the wild west.

damn this game.

have you guys tried the online yet? it's pretty hilarious.

Nope I haven't tried the online yet but I was taking down by a mountain lion working with a wolf last night. I guess I was their common enemy.

Also ran into my first bears yesterday, they just bulldozed me and the horse.

When and how do you get to Mexico? I've been dying to get there, but no quest line has sent me yet and I tried to go on foot but the bridge I went to wasn't built yet, and as I learned, you can't swim lol.

What I did last night was try to do that "a funny man" quest line, he was tied up in a mine shaft, but I was also doing a random "kill all the bandits" quest at the same time. It was at that gold mine all the way to the western edge of the map, I died at the end of it, rode back to do it again, died again and quit. But before I quit, I read about a devious achievement where you tie up a girl and leave her on the train tracks to get run over. Now I didn't want to kidnap some innocent girl, so this time when I was being flagged down for help by a maiden in distress, it was another ambush, 4 guys stepped out and tried to rob and kill me, so I took all of them out. What was left? Their maiden ally, who I hog tied and brought to the train tracks (feel like I'm in a dudley doright cartoon lol) and left there. I watched the train hit her, it was gruesome, but no achievement. So I felt like some kind of awful monster after that lol, I just wanted the achievement I read about instead I'm some kind of insane murderer now!
