Ahhhh baseball is finally back in full force.

I predict Adam Lind has the first Jays homerun of the season.

Should open the roof and see if we can't relive the 1977 opener.

O man, it's been a long while since posting  game day thread. I MISSED IT.

I'll put $$$ on DOC.

DOC & his fellow Jays will outlast MoTown Tiggers with a splash.

Despite the poor offseason it feels great to be starting the season. I have my HDTV that I purchased in the offseason ready to watch my first HD Jays broadcast. I can't wait.

Didn't Doc get a beat down opening day @ home to the tigers a few years back?

Anywho i think it'll be a low scoring match with BJ Blowing a 2 run lead 3-4 Tigers.

Yay! Baseball is back woooo! No matter how bad or good the Jays will be, its just great to see them in action again.

I think the Jays offense will do pretty well this game, with Lind and Snider showing their skills.
6-2 Jays.

You'll love it.  We got a 46 inch HDTV in the middle of last season (actually while the Jays were playing that series in Pittsburgh) and it's like watching baseball for the first time again.  It looks so beautiful in HD.

Jays will win tomorrow, even if DOC leaves the mound without a decision  :P

Losing on the opening day in front of home crowd is a mega embarrassment. Jays are aware of that and should avoid it at any cost.

GO JAYS & WIN THE BALL GAME.

Doc is going to dominate.  He was really great in his last 2 spring starts and probably did not want to come out after 7 innings.  I hope he goes 9 because in a low scoring game the last thing I want to see is a low 80s throwing BJ Ryan facing lefty masher after lefty masher after lefty masher.

Anyone else pissed this is a night game?  Seriously they could have at least made it 6:15 instead of later then regular time.  As far as I know the blue jays are the only mlb team that start their opening day game later then the standard time.  If it had been a day game I could have at least taken the day off work :)

Pretty much only the Twins are the only other team having a game starting later than 7pm (in their time zone)
