Game 139: They lost.
« on: September 08, 2010, 08:07:37 PM »
Has there ever been a game thread started post game?

Does this count as a loss for my game thread streak?

Did anyone at the ballpark even notice tonight's game?

I listened to it on the radio.  Why did I do that?

Discuss.

The B lineup didn't help.

It would have been nice to play for the sweep but I guess Snider needed a day off, Lewis was still hurting too much to play JP has not learned anything since his recall and McCoy needs more playing time.  I guess it does make more sense to play the B lineup now and the A lineup against Tampa since they are actually playing for something but Texas is a much more beatable team and it would have been nice to sweep.

On the plus side thats now 3 games in a row Tallet has not given up a home run!  I think his record this season is 4 so tomorrow he'll have a chance to tie :)

Yeah, that was hard to watch last night (the little of it that I did see).  Tonight should be interesting though with the Canadian Shawn Hill on the mound.

school started so there is less kids in the crowd. that accounts for less adults too as parents have to be home for the kids.

By cito's logic, shouldn't the B-Team include JP Arencibia?

Brian Tallet is up to 11 appearances without giving up an earned run!...9 without giving up a run at all!  Nothing says "use me every day" like giving up runs 2 out of every three times you step on the mound.
